#15 Googledoc

GoogleDoc's was very interesting sharing emails with friends and family, as you can share documents with many people who isn't sitting right there next to you.

Whewww!!!! I'm finally done!!! lol..

I found this Web 2.0 project to be very interesting. Some of the activities I probably would have never known existed and they were very beneficial for me to use in the future. I also struggled with some activites as I am not a computer savy person.

I feel the instructions did tell us what to do to complete the activities but not really how to access your way to complete each activity.

Overall, I am glad that I took the time to really push myself through it, Web 2.0 did open my eyes to alot more internet sites out there.

Thanks!

#16 Craigslist

http://newyork.craigslist.org/lgi/reb/1214633564.html

I looked the above list on craigslist. Lately I been on the site looking up Homes For Sale. This is one that I came across that intrigues me.

I think Craigslist is a great library function, patrons can access this site to find anything they may want or to sell items.

#14 Wiki

I find Wiki very interesting as it is a online dictionary, I am very familiar with this site as I use it daily at my other employment.

Library patrons can find this site to be very beneficial as it is an online dictionary to look up any information they may need without having to take the time to actually look it up in a dicitionary, or take out books on one topic.

#13 Feeds

The method in finding feeds that I though was the easiest to use is Technorati. I thought Syndic8.com was alittle more difficult for me to navigate my way around as as search tool. The most useful feeds I found in my travels is being able to search updated news clips. The only other tool I would use to locate newsfeeds is by Google search.

AUDIO

I cannot download audio because I am posting on a certain computer, but I have familiarize myself with this service and find it to be very helpful. I can see how people would be able to search for audio books and listen to them at their convenience of being in their home.

#9 Explore Flickr

I really enjoy Flicker alot, its a great site to save all family pictures or make albums. It's also very easy to access your way around.

YOU TUBE

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sp3LIed6ikk

I could not embed this link to my you tube video. Patron's can use you tube to look up any destinations they would some day like to travel to. Trapani (Sicily) is where some of my family memeber's are from and a place I would like to go visit some day soon.

Myspace

I like myspace as it is a easy way for me to keep in contact with close family and friends.
I am not currently a member of face book. The library facebook account is very helpful for patrons who may be interested in looking up library information.

4. Twittering & Microblogging

I like myspace as it is a easy way for me to keep in contact with close family and friends.
